• Results from Hershey Loudoun Meet Sunday May 7, 2006
  This meet was held on May 7, 2006 at Heritage High School. If the athlete finished in the top six overall for that event, their place is shown before their name. Only the top two qualify from each event to the Hershey Regional Finals at Falls Church High School on Saturday June 10, 2006. Loudoun Special Forces athletes qualifying for the Regional Finals are shown in italics. Results for field events (softball throw and standing long jump) are included at the end of the document. Results are available in Microsoft Word and PDF.

• Hershey Loudoun Meet, Sunday May 7, 2006.
  The Hershey Loudoun meet will be Sunday May 7, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at our home track Heritage High School in Leesburg. This is for ages 9-14 only, with age determined by athlete's age on 12/31/2006.
  
  NOTE: The entry deadline is May 1. Please complete this entry form and hand to Coach Julie by Thursday April 27. If you are on a relay team you can compete in only one other track event. 
  
  Your school may also receive forms. Please return the form to us to enter as Special Forces so that we can better co-ordinate the team entries.

  The rainout date is Wednesday May 10, 2006 at 6 p.m.

  Only the first and second finishers in each event will advance to the district meet. The district meet will be held this year in Fairfax County.  The meet will be held at Falls Church High School, (Fairfax, VA) on June 10^th.   The state meet will be held on June 24^th in Charlottesville at the University of Virginia.
   

• Randallstown Invitational  May 6, 2006
  We are only recommending this meet to those athletes in the Intermediate and Young Men and Women Age Group (Born 1991or before) and experienced Sub Bantam's. (Born 1998 and after).
  Details:  Saturday, May 6.  Meet starts 9:00am Entry fee $5 per athlete.
  Location:  Randallstown High School, Randallstown , MD 21133.

• Chantilly Invitational - Chantilly High School, Sunday April 23, 2006 2-6pm
  Our first meet of the season will be the Chantilly Invitational at Chantilly High School, 4201 Stringfellow Rd, Chantilly, VA 20151. This is south off Route 50 two miles east of Route 28.
  
  The meet includes track events from 50m - 1600m, as well as shot, long jump and high jump. The scheduled start for the meet is at 3pm so please arrive at 2pm to give the athletes time to warm up, and be allocated their number. 
  
  Order of Events
  1600m, 50m (10 & under only), 100m, 400m, 800m, 200m

Field Events
Long Jump - sub bantam, bantam boys and girls can go right away here as we run the 1600m.  They can take their jumps and get in line for the dash.
Shot Put - midget, youth, young can start here because chances are if they are older and throwing then they are not running the 1600m
High Jump - ONLY Bantam and older...  Bar will start at 3' and go up 2" every 6-10 minutes.  If an athlete misses a height because they were running - they are welcome to jump at the current height but the bar does not go down.  Each person will stay in the event until they missed 3 times in a row - this will be on an HONOR SYSTEM. Successful jumps will be recorded.

ALL FIELD EVENTS - will be open of course but if we direct age groups in the beginning it might help with the flow of everything.

Benita Fitzgerald ('84 Olympic 100M hurdle Gold Medalist) will also be there to take pictures with kids and sign autographs!
